On April 15 , new R&B artist August Alsina appeared on BET's 106 & Park to promote his new album Testimony which came out that day. Co-host Keshia Chante asked the question all of August's fans were dying to know : Will he and Trey Songz ever "bury the hatchet" ? 

August dodged the question by lashing out at Chante and telling the new co-host "you just gon go against the grain and go against everything I just- I just told ya'll not to ask me that shit ." The look on Chante's face was of pure anger and humiliation. She tried to come back from her statement and then replied to August "well, I think the girls wanna know , and you've spoken about it on radio stations and blogs and you're on a show so fans wanna know , so I'm just asking what the fans wanna know." Chante ended the heated conversation with "That's it and if you don't wanna answer that's fine." Chante was just doing her job and she handled the situation very professionally.

Music Mondays : Rihanna & Eminem Perform "Monster" at 2014 MTV Movies Awards + More Exclusive Clips From The Award Show

 

Last night , the MTV Movie Awards aired and brought the whole young Hollywood out ! Even though last night was all about the big screen, there also was a few performances. Eminem and Rihanna performed their smash hit "Monster" while the crowd went insane. Also, Ellie Gouding and Zedd performed "Beating Heart/Find You".

There were many winners at the Awards last night. Jonah Hill won best comedic actor, Mila Kunis won best villain, and Hunger Games won the prestigious movie of the year award just to highlight a few of last nights winners. Rita Ora presented the award for best shirtless actor and had the audience laughing out loud when she ripped Zac Efron's Shirt off. The MTV Movie Awards aired on televisions around the world last night. I am here to give you all the exclusive deets from young Hollywood's favorite event. A lot of the women who attended the award show had the old Hollywood glamour with a modern twist look. Out of all the celebs, mega star Nicki Minaj had the best look of them all. Ms. Minaj slayed in an Alexander Mcqueen simple long black dress with mesh cut outs on the side. Nicki's fashion has really evolved from her old over the top lady gaga-ish style to her now simple, natural sexy look. This is the perfect example of the old saying "less is more" because since toning down Nicki has looked better than EVER !

Nicki Reppin Chi-Town !? She Teams Up Chicago Rapper Lil Herb For Gritty New Single "Chi-Raq" LISTEN HERE

 YMCMB artist Nicki Minaj took the internet by storm yet again. Early this morning, Nicki released a hard hittin hood track entitled "Chi-raq" which features rising Chi-town emcee Lil Herb. In the track, Lil Herb spits few bars from his hit song "Kill Shit " along with some new bars. Herb has been receiving major buzz since Drake co-signed his lyricist MC status a few months ago on twitter and also with the release of his mixtape Welcome to Fazoland back in February. It seems Nicki caught on to Herb's wave and we will hopefully be seeing more of this collab in the future. 


After the release of Nicki's previous album Pink Friday (2010), Nicki vowed to her barbs that she would go back to her gritty hip hop steez instead of the bubblegum pop music she released on that album. With singles like "Lookin Ass Nigga" and Her remix to "Danny Glover" by Young Thug she is proving that she will not let her fans down. "Chi-raq" will be featured on her upcoming album Pink Print which she has yet to set a release date for. Nicki spits on the outro of the song “I might give you a new trick every week until this album drops…..I don’t know, I figured they wanted some more.”

Basketball Wives LA Exclusive Preview Clip ! : Draya & Her Baller Boo Confront Jackie And Her Daughter Chantel On BBWLA Ep. 8 + Recap Of Ep. 7

On Monday night's episode of  Basketball Wives LA , tensions between Jackie , Chantel and Draya hit the fan. The ladies all came back to LA to talk about all the drama from their recent trip to Palm Springs. Jackie still not being over what Draya said about her daughter, Chantel, suggested they should all meet up to clear the air. All season the main storyline has been that Draya's current boo Orlando Scandrick was messing with Jackie's daughter Chantel. Draya expressed to Jackie that she did not want to meet with Chantel and did not see the point of it. Jackie and Draya met up for a few cocktails later in the show and to Draya's surprise Chantel popped up to clear her name on the brewing scandal. 

On next weeks episode, Draya and her baller boyfriend Orlando are now confronting Jackie and Chantel. Orlando is sick of the gossip surrounding him previously dating Chantel and wants to clear his name for good. Also, Draya is still upset that Chantel popped up during her and Jackie's meet up. Draya says on the clip "Everyone has had their chance to talk. Now it's my man's turn !"
