On April 15 , new R&B artist August Alsina appeared on BET's 106 & Park to promote his new album Testimony which came out that day. Co-host Keshia Chante asked the question all of August's fans were dying to know : Will he and Trey Songz ever "bury the hatchet" ?
August dodged the question by lashing out at Chante and telling the new co-host "you just gon go against the grain and go against everything I just- I just told ya'll not to ask me that shit ." The look on Chante's face was of pure anger and humiliation. She tried to come back from her statement and then replied to August "well, I think the girls wanna know , and you've spoken about it on radio stations and blogs and you're on a show so fans wanna know , so I'm just asking what the fans wanna know." Chante ended the heated conversation with "That's it and if you don't wanna answer that's fine." Chante was just doing her job and she handled the situation very professionally.

I understand August not wanting to talk about his current beef with Trey Songz , but going off on a young journalist is not professional in any and he should've just said I'd rather not answer. August told the world he had beef with Trey on Rap Up , so he should expect that to be brought up on interviews. August told Rap Up on March 2014 "I don't really fuck with Trey right now. We don't really get along right now. We ain't on the same page. He did some other shit and we just don't rock."August being a new artist he needs to show his fans that he is humble and respects women because that gonna be his main fan base. His album is in stores NOW !!
